035: “Aren’t all Filipinos nurses?” Being raised by a single parent, her love for language, and stereotyping in the workplace with Dr. Stella C

Physician, wife, mother of two and SF Bay Area resident Dr. Stella C knew at a very young age that she wanted to become a doctor. She shares what it was like to be raised by a single mother, getting hazed in medical school, her love for language (she speaks five languages), being stereotyped in the workplace, and to not let your circumstances dictate your life.
