Nani’s Auntie Laura joins TFAW Project for a fun family episode sharing how she’s gone from being shameful to prideful about identifying as a Filipino American woman, what it was like to grow up in a place where nobody looked like her, and the evolution of identity politics she’s observed throughout the different generations of Pinays. As we examine how her career has unfolded leading up until this point, we discuss both the fear & reward that come with taking that leap of faith to explore outside of family expectations & cultural comfort zones to explore our potential for success.
